The first Jelly comes to a close...

Well the first Jelly comes to a close... so how did it go?

Well some words from those that attended today...

  • Working with others makes it more office like... you somehow become more accountable
  • Been putting off doing these challenging things for a while
  • It was brilliant to be able to move projects along and know that if you got stuck it could be quickly resolved and yoy can move on to the next thing
  • Got more done in 10 minutes than I would have done in a whole day on my own

Some of the tasks tackled today included...

  1. Getting a GMail account sorted
  2. Connecting to shared calendars and adding events
  3. Finalising a blog post, sourcing images and adding links
  4. Creating a mailchimp account, preparing email lists and starting to set up the first campaign
  5. Starting to use Google Keep... and creating a structure "To do List" with completion tick boxes

Even on one of the hottest days the room remained temperate and comfortable to work in (we didn't even need the air conditioning). As these Jelly's develop there will also be a break out room with comfortable sofa's to enable those wanting to discuss things to do so away from those with 'deep thought' work to do.

If you would like to move your business forward and sort some of those tasks that you have parked in the "too difficult" pile or you just want support while you dive in then these Jelly's are perfect.

Bring your own lunch... fridge available... bring your own drinks or we'll get you a latte sorted for an additional £1.50 or Tea for £1. From 9:30am - 4pm or any part thereof for just £10 (L4B members) or £15 for non members. Book here...

Conclusion

Definitely a huge success today. The idea of bringing people into a space to be able to work together and have light hearted banter or deeper conversations, whilst working on projects (with help on hand) is definitely something we will continue with.
